AstroLifeGPS Technologies Pvt. Ltd. ("AstroLifeGPS", "we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect through the AstroLifeGPS mobile application and our website at astrolifegps.com (together, the "Service"), how we use and protect it, and the choices and rights you have. Because the Service is built around your birth chart, some of the data we handle is sensitive — we treat it accordingly.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide

  • Account details — your name and email address
  • Birth data — your date of birth, exact time of birth, and place of birth, used to generate your birth chart and personalised guidance
  • Optional profile details such as gender, where relevant to a calculation
  • Partner or relationship birth details you voluntarily add to use compatibility and "Together" features
  • Questions, messages, and inputs you send to the AI astrologer
  • Payment details for subscriptions — processed by our payment partners; we do not store full card numbers

Information collected automatically

  • Device information (model, operating system, app version) and identifiers
  • IP address and approximate location (region / time zone)
  • Usage data — features used, screens viewed, and time spent in the app
  • Crash, diagnostic, and performance logs

Sensitive data. Your birth data and the contents of your conversations with the AI astrologer are treated as sensitive personal data. We use them only to provide the Service and never sell them.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • Generate your birth chart, daily GPS scores, Golden Moments, and personalised insights
  • Power the ReBi AI astrologer and conversational guidance features
  • Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Service
  • Process subscriptions and send you essential service communications
  • Send product updates or offers where you have consented (you can opt out anytime)
  • Comply with legal obligations and prevent fraud or abuse

3. Consent and Legal Bases

We process your personal data on the basis of your consent (which you may withdraw at any time), to perform our agreement with you in delivering the Service, to meet a legal obligation, and for legitimate purposes such as security and product improvement. Where you are in the EEA or UK, equivalent bases under the GDPR apply.

4. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with:

  • Service providers — cloud hosting, analytics, payment processing, and customer support vendors who are contractually bound to protect it and use it only as instructed
  • AI and compute providers that power ReBi AI features, under confidentiality terms
  • Authorities — where required by law or to protect our legal rights
  • A successor entity — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset transfer, subject to this policy

5. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Our website uses cookies and our app uses similar device technologies and SDKs. For details, see our Cookie Policy.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Your birth data is retained until you delete your account or request its erasure. We may retain limited information for longer where required by law (for example, tax or accounting records).

7. Data Security

We apply encryption in transit and at rest for sensitive birth data, along with access controls and monitoring. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information using appropriate technical and organisational measures.

8. International Transfers

We are based in India and may process data using service providers located in other countries. Where data is transferred across borders, we apply appropriate safeguards consistent with applicable data protection law.

9. Your Rights

Subject to applicable law, including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct or update inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Request erasure of your personal data
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
  • Nominate another individual to exercise your rights in the event of incapacity or death
  • Raise a grievance and, if unresolved, complain to the Data Protection Board of India

10. Children's Privacy

The Service is intended for adults (18 years and older) and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
